Very good service, the booklet was beautiful and we had a great D8 Night!

The story was... decent, even cute, but it was incapable of predicting any action outside those that were intended for the player, which isn't a really good thing if we are speaking about a DND module. I suspect AI "art" was used, but I cannot confirm this fact. The checks never referred to skills and always referred to ability checks, which is weird for 5e. Also, the shot, to my knowledge, gives no clear indication for the level the shot is balanced for, giving a vague 3-5. All in all, it was enjoyable for an alternative date night, but it needs a lot of work on part of the DM.

Hi Frndly - I'm very sorry to hear the one shot didn't live up to your expectations :( Unfortunately we can't predict every outcome so it has to be left up to the DM to decide how the players actions might fit into the scoring citeria to help put together an appropriate ending, what level would be appropriate for the player in the game, and how to best blend the one-shot to their player. But that's one of the great things about D&D in that it's so fluid. It's amazing that a story you figure will only turn out X way can go completely skaw-ways because of player choices :)

I don't really see how this story is ~romantic~, but it was a fun date night evening. I was hoping to deity would have the player like,,, describe things they love/like in a person or something to start conversation between us after the game was over.

Hi Ashley - as with any D&D game, the story is as romantic as you want to make it :) We had to be very careful not to force ppl to play it romantically as not everyone who plays it wants to do that. But the option is there.
